The Huntsville Sacred Chorale invites you to an evening of radiant choral music exploring themes of creation, praise, hope, and new beginnings. Beginnings — Songs of Faith and Renewal weaves together beloved hymns, stirring anthems, and soulful spirituals that reflect both awe and assurance at the start of something new.
The program opens with music of wonder and creation, featuring Dan Forrest’s expansive setting of How Great Thou Art, jubilant praise from William Mathias and Ralph Manuel, and the majesty of Handel’s Coronation Anthems. After intermission, the focus turns toward hope and joyful proclamation, with powerful spirituals and hymn settings by Moses Hogan, Eric Nelson, and Parker/Shaw.
